Despite only having 10 days to organise the event and publicise it, despite being held on the same day as the popular Stoke Goldington Steam Rally, and despite deciding to move the start time forward fifteen minutes at extremely late notice after we were notified the evening before about a wedding which was taking place at 1pm instead of 2:30pm as we'd been told originally, there was a great turnout with many local people turning out to support us on the day.
Everything went very smoothly; people knew what they were supposed to be doing and I think we caused a minimum of disruption to traffic, etc. In fact, the Police even congratulated us on how well organised we were, and how smoothly everything went.
Well done, everyone!
